Operation Ballgown

Welcome to Operation Ballgown - a special initiative by the Cherry Point Spouse Club dedicated to supporting military spouses. This event is designed to help individuals look and feel their best for formal occasions like the Marine Corps and Navy balls. As a philanthropic effort, it offers a curated selection of beautiful, gently used gowns, formal wear, shoes and accessories, all free of charge. The aim is to provide the perfect dress for their special event while making the experience enjoyable and stress-fee, all while giving back to our military community.

Who Can Participate?
The event is open to military spouses of all ranks and branches. Whether you’re a first-time attendee or a seasoned ball-goer, you’re welcome to join us!

How Does It Work?

Dress Selection: Dresses are available on a first come, first serve basis. Each person can choose one dress to take home.
Dressing Rooms: There will be individual pop up dressing rooms, however, it is recommended to wear appropriate shape wear or undergarments to ensure a comfortable experience.

Want to Get Involved?
We always welcome volunteers to help make the event run smoothly! Volunteers assist with setup, cleanup, fitting rooms, check-in/check-out, and more. Interested in volunteering? Sign up here.
